Larissa Montecuollo – Partner
Larissa Montecuollo joined Tribecca Designs as Creative Lead and Art Director in 2007 and became the owner in 2011. While she’s worked at a handful of New York’s prestigious design and interactive firms, Tribecca ultimately became Larissa’s permanent home because of her affinity for the subject matter: food and culture. Her connection to her clients’ fields of expertise means she (and her team) are excellent interpreters of the intangible quality of creativity that goes into a successful branding project.
A self-professed maniacal epicure, Larissa’s life at the creative helm revolves around frequent museum visiting, book reading, restaurant going, and general cultural soaking-up. Her life outside the office is balanced with a devotion to giving back to the greater design community. Active in her field, Larissa has spoken to university students about design, was Roundtable Host at the 2010 Thinking Creatively Conference, and judged the 2008 JSPRAA Image Awards for Excellence in Communications and Design. She is President of Spark Design Professionals and is a founding member (and former president) of The New York City Hospitality Group. Larissa earned a BFA with a double major in graphic design and information technology/informatics from Rutgers University and a masters in visual arts administration from New York University. She is a second-generation Ukrainian, is fluent in the language, and is active in the Ukrainian-American community.
And on a more pragmatic note, Larissa’s devotion to detail, lucid communication, and thoughtful design solutions mean that she is always a staunch advocate of her clients and their brands. Larissa oversees all projects at Tribecca. You are in good hands.
